How dark can you go in Texas?

Texas allows 25% or lighter on the front side windows, any shade on the side windows behind the driver, and a tinted strip along the top of the windshield. The rear window can be any shade if the vehicle has an outside mirror on each side. We'll help you pick a shade that's legal and looks right.

How long does window tinting take?

How dark can I tint my windows in Texas?

Front side windows must be 25% or lighter. The side windows behind the driver can be any shade, and so can the rear window if you have a mirror on each side. The windshield can only be tinted along the top strip.
